He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine in Ljubljana in 2011, completed his internship in 2012 and passed the professional exam.
He worked as a resident physician in the surgical department of the General Hospital Jesenice, and at Bitenc Surgery. In 2015, he began his residency in general surgery, which he completed with honours in March 2021. Since 2019, he has been employed at Arbor Mea, where he performs minimally invasive arthroscopic procedures on the shoulders and knees as a general surgery fellow.
