Fabrizio Brindisino graduated from the University of Bari with 110/110 cum laude in November 2005. He immediately began a productive activity in Lecce, in one of the largest centers of prosthetic implantology where pre and post surgical rehabilitation was administered. He attended, as a student and as a teacher, numerous courses, conferences and training seminars that focus on surgical methods, evaluation and treatment of the aftermath of orthopedic surgery and traumatology of the lower and upper limbs.

Considering advanced training in Manual Therapy and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal disorders complementary and necessary to his activity, he attended the Master in Manual Therapy at the University of Padua in 2012.

In 2015 he was appointed by the University of Rome Tor Vergata to provide teaching in the post degree specialization course in "Manual Therapy Applied to Physiotherapy" in which he taught "Manual Therapy Applied to the Shoulder Girdle". In 2019 he received the Contract Teaching from the University of Molise at the "Master in Science and Practice in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy". The same year he completed the two-year course at the University of Florence, acquiring the title of Master's Degree in Rehabilitation Science of the Health Professions. He is currently a Contract Teacher in the Bachelor Degree Course in Physiotherapy at the University of Molise and is enrolled in the PhD course in “Technologies and Innovation in Medicine” at the same University. His professional growth in the evaluation and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders is continuous and expanding as his academic and teaching activity in various training courses for physiotherapists. He is also the author and co-author of numerous books and scientific publications in indexed journals and a member of the Italian Society of Shoulder and Elbow Surgery – SICSeG in “Guidelines and Registers” and “Rehabilitation” Committee.

Our hospital was founded in 1909 as a sanatoryum for bone diseases for the Austro-Hungarian Empire. After World War I it was renovated by the American Red Cross. In 1920 it was taken over by the Italian Red Cross and after WW II Valdoltra became part of Yugoslavian health systeme. It turned to orthopaedics and in early 1961 was renamed Valdoltra Orthopaedic Hospital.
