Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine Specialist
She works at URI Soča as the head of the Outpatient clinic for chronic pain. In addition to outpatient care and activities within interdisciplinary programs for the treatment of chronic pain patients, she is also working in the department for rehabilitation of amputees.
She completed her PhD in the field of quality of life in people after upper limb amputation, but then focused on the narrower clinical field of treating people with chronic pain and fibromyalgia. Especially important for her is raising awareness about nature of chronic pain in health professionals whilst also promoting empathetic doctor-patient relationship and destigmatising different chronic pain conditions.
She is the president of the Slovenian PRM Society and National manager at the Slovenian medical Chamber for PRM.
