Matej Bombač

Matej Bombač

Matej Bombač holds a degree in physiotherapy and a degree in strength and conditioning coaching.

He has completed specializations in sport performance, sports traumatology, and rehabilitation with a focus on motor control exercises. He continuously upgrades his knowledge and skills through carefully selected professional seminars abroad.
At the beginning of his career, he worked with various domestic and international national teams and clubs in basketball and football. He soon recognized that athletes often lack comprehensive care and support, which led him to establish the company Rehabo d.o.o. (Divača, Slovenia) with the aim of offering complete support to athletes by integrating experts from various fields and disciplines. He is the founder, director, and coordinator of the company, which he has successfully led since its inception in 2010.
Under his leadership, Rehabo operates as an interdisciplinary team of physiotherapists, osteopaths, and kinesiologists, working closely with an orthopedic specialist and external collaborators such as a dietitian and psychotherapist.
Matej Bombač collaborates with numerous top-level domestic and international athletes from various sports disciplines, including Janja Garnbret (a two-time Olympic champion in sport climbing).
He is also eager to share his knowledge and experience with interested audiences through various internal training sessions held at institutions, federations, clubs in Slovenia and abroad.
